Pro’s Ice: Offered through Parade Ice Garden
Pro’s Ice is offered directly through the rink office. SQSA does not set the schedule, price or procedures. If you have questions please email: arenas@minneapolisparks.org.
Paying For Sessions:
Must be done at the front office counter before getting onto the ice.
Payments will only be accepted for the sessions that day (do not send checks for the entire week or multiple days)
All sessions are 1 hour, $14
There will be no 30 minute or 45 minute sessions. A skater may choose to skate 30 minutes, however, they will pay for the entire session at $14.

Pro’s Ice Figure Skating Rules
- Skaters must pay for their ice time in the front office, prior to skating.
- Skaters and coaches train at their own risk. SAFETY FIRST.
- When entering the ice, look both ways and skate counter-clockwise with the flow of traffic.
- In order to coach on pros ice, professionals must have liability insurance and be in good standing with the governing bodies of Figure Skating and Hockey.
- For safety purposes, Stationary and Pole Harness have the right of way.
- Outside of harnesses, anyone skating their program to music played on the rink system has the right of way.
- No hockey sticks or hockey pucks. Hockey equipment worn by skaters, and developmental tools/equipment operated by insured skating coaches, are permitted.
- Air Pods/Ear Buds/Headphones for music/etc. are not permitted.
- Figures are allowed on the ice, but do not have the right of way. We ask as a courtesy that other skaters be aware and avoid figure patterns when possible.
- If using a scribe for a figure pattern, only coaches and/or figure skating officials may operate a scribe.
- Have good sportsmanship. Be courteous to others on the ice, as well as rink staff.
- Leave no trace! When leaving the rink, please clean up the area around you and throw away your trash.
