Parade Figure Skating Club

Parade Figure Skating Club (PFSC) is the nonprofit booster club supporting the athletes, families, and community of SportQuest Skating Academy (SQSA Parade). From celebrations and special events to volunteer opportunities and athlete support, PFSC helps create the welcoming community that makes SQSA Parade feel like home.

More Than a Skating Club

PFSC brings skaters, parents, coaches, and families together through events, community involvement, and shared support for our athletes on and off the ice.

Throughout the year, PFSC helps organize favorite traditions like the Fall Kickoff, Halloween celebrations, banquet events, volunteer opportunities, and the annual Spring Ice Show experience.

Our goal is simple: create a positive, encouraging environment where skaters can grow in confidence, build friendships, and enjoy being part of the skating community.

Building Community On and Off the Ice

All SQSA Parade members are automatically part of PFSC. The club is led by a volunteer Board of Directors made up of skating parents, guardians, and adult skaters who are passionate about supporting the program and its athletes.

PFSC supports the skating community through:

Community events and celebrations
Volunteer and leadership opportunities
New family support and resources
Athlete recognition and enrichment
Fundraising and club support initiatives

Board meetings are typically held monthly, and members are always encouraged to get involved.

Parade Figure Skating Club (PFSC) is the “booster” club for SportQuest Skating Academy (SQSA Parade). It is the not-for-profit arm of the club made up of parents/guardians and adult skaters to provide a supportive environment to help skaters achieve their goals.

PFSC promotes and celebrates our skaters, coaches and families and provides educational and social events to help skaters and parents gain more understanding about the skating world and develop friendships along the way.

Some of the events PFSC hosts are “Fall Kick Off” (including our dress and skate sale), our Halloween Party and the extremely popular spring skating banquet. PFSC also hosts events for skater enrichment such as community food drives and other volunteer opportunities that focus on skaters giving back to our community.

Members of SQSA Parade are automatically members of PFSC. PFSC is governed by an elected board of directors.

The board welcomes input from all members. For confidentiality, we have not posted email addresses. If you would like the list of board email addresses, email paradefscboard@gmail.com and we will provide it for any member or coach.
