Manage Email Routing

Define destination Email Addresses for Different Emails Sent from the Website.

Manage Website Email Routing

Click for Editor Instructions

Use this page to control which real email address receives each system notification (things like class registration confirmations, contact form submissions, or waitlist alerts). The notification itself still goes out the same way it always has — this page only lets you choose who actually receives it.

What you can update here

  • View the Notification List
Each row shows the name (Descriptor) of a notification, so you know what it's for.
  • See the Placeholder Address
Underneath each notification name is a placeholder address used behind the scenes to route the email. This is reference information only and cannot be edited from this screen.
  • Update the Sends To Address
Enter the real email address that should receive that notification going forward. To send it to more than one person, put each address on its own line (press Enter between them) — everyone listed will receive a copy. You can change this at any time.
  • Save Changes
Click Save to apply your changes.

Important Notes

  • Changes here take effect as soon as you click Save — there is no separate step to push changes live.
  • If you leave a Sends To address blank, that notification will fall back to the site's main administrator email address instead of going nowhere.
  • If you enter more than one address, put each on its own line — not separated by commas. Every address you enter is checked before saving — if one isn't a valid email address, that entire row won't be saved and you'll see a message asking you to fix it.
  • Only the destination address(es) change. The subject, content, and attachments of the notification stay exactly the same.
  • Double-check each address before saving — an incorrect address means that notification won't reach the right person.

What this editor does not control

This editor manages destination addresses only. The list of notifications itself, and how each one is set up, is managed by the site administrator.

  • Adding, removing, or renaming notifications
  • Setting up the placeholder address a notification uses
  • The subject line, message content, or template of a notification
  • Which form or event triggers a notification
  • Making layout, styling, or website design changes

If you need any of the changes above, please contact the site administrator.

You do not have permission to edit notification email routing.
