How Contract Ice Works

Getting started with SQSA contract ice is simple. Follow the steps below to become a member, access EntryEeze, and register for sessions and classes.

Create SQSA / EntryEeze Account

SQSA memberships and contract ice registrations are managed through EntryEeze.

Create your account and complete your SQSA membership to get started.

Register for Sessions & Classes

Use EntryEeze to register for freestyle sessions, training classes, and contract ice.

Registration is immediate once a session is selected and completed.

Review contract ice procedures, attendance expectations, buy on rates, and important skating policies before registering.

* FS A is for skaters FS4 or Bronze Skating Skills & up
All Sessions / Classes are on ice, aside from those denoted as OFF ICE.
Skaters will need to have tennis shoes for OFF ICE classes.
*Freestyle A is for skaters FS4 and above, or Bronze SS, aside from Fridays & Saturdays.
None of the Friday & Saturday sessions are leveled.

Training Opportunities on the Ice

SQSA Parade Ice Contracts and Classes provide structured freestyle sessions and specialty training opportunities throughout the season.

Skaters may participate through seasonal contract ice or buy on to eligible sessions when space is available.

Training opportunities may include freestyle ice, jump and spin classes, off-ice conditioning, power sessions, artistic development, and more.

Ice Policies

Please review the following policies regarding absences, session switches, buy ons, and competition conflicts.

Important: Before purchasing a class or ice session, non-members must have a signed waiver on file.

Absences

If you are unable to attend a contracted session, please notify the Ice Hotline as soon as possible so attendance and ice numbers can be managed appropriately.

Same-Day Session Switches

Session switches may only be requested for another session on the same day and are subject to availability.

Skaters may not switch into sessions on different days, though buy ons may be available separately.

Buy Ons

Skaters are encouraged to buy on when space is available. Availability must be confirmed before attending.

Payment must be submitted in advance or on the day of the session prior to skating.

Competition/Test Conflicts

Skaters with a direct conflict due to an ISI or USFS competition or live test session may request make-up sessions through the Ice Hotline form.

Requests must be submitted before missed sessions in order to be considered.

Buy On Rates

Current buy on pricing effective 9/1/2026.

Non-members: Add $2.00 to listed rates.

Buy ons are based on session availability and are not guaranteed.

Pro’s Ice Figure Skating Rules

These rules are established by the Minneapolis Park & Recreation Board facility where Pro’s Ice sessions are held.

This program offers skaters an opportunity to work on their skating skills either individually or through private lessons with an instructor.

  1. While participating in Pro’s Ice Figure Skating, please be considerate of other groups/individuals.
  2. Skaters/coaches deemed inconsiderate of other groups will be asked to leave the ice by Management.
  3. All participating skaters must sign in and pay before taking the ice.
  4. On wristband days, skaters are required to wear a wristband.
  5. Skating instructors must ensure all students have paid their daily fee.
  6. Any skater on the ice who has not paid will be asked to leave the ice.
  7. Skaters cannot take the ice until the Zamboni is off the ice and the gate is shut.
  8. Adult supervision is recommended for all youth 17 and under.
  9. All injuries must be reported to the front desk personnel.
  10. Pro’s Ice participants skate at their own risk.
